Programming Overview
DISH Network transmits English language programming from two domestic satellites; 119 and 110. The basic core programming (Bronze, Silver and Gold) packages, are on the 119. - There are a few channels in the Silver package and the Gold packages that are broadcast from the 110 and, even though you are paying for them, you will not receive unless you can access the 110 satellite as well.
About pay per view
If the event indicates DISH 500 required this means that the event is on the 110 satellite, or that some or most of the games in a sports package are on the 110 satellite. If your Dish antenna is aligned to the 119 satellite, you will not receive this Pay Per View. PLEASE CHECK, BEFORE ORDERING, WHICH SATELLITE THE PAY PER VIEW IS ON!!!
